Self motivated Outside Sales Manager / Business Development Manager with a flair for consulting type sales & closing deals but also someone who would like to excel in their career in a growing innovative company.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a highly innovative and internationally known high-tech company looking to hire a dynamic Sales / Business Development Manager who has the skills to pursue and develop business opportunities in the Ontario market.  The ideal candidate would be an individual who encompasses the true nature of a Sales Guru, is tech savvy understands the high technology/automation sales application market and has a great sense of leadership; a person who enjoys the hunt of developing new business within various regions in Ontario, but is equally skilled at managing a team while negotiating and closing deals.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a great opportunity for someone who aspires in the near future to become a leader in their sales division.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

-Performs B2B outside sales calls on prospective accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with potential clients within the Durham Region region - East Ontario & surroundings.
-Conduct market analysis and created development plans for the region to optimize sales.
-Executed high velocity sales with OEM and End User customer Accounts.
-Prospect new and potential clients.
-Successfully handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working though differences to a closing solution.
-Creatively solved long outstanding applications in the industry with potential client.
-Help troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment with clients during testing.
-Analyze and improve performance metrics.
-Consistently book meetings and visits with prospective clients in the automation, manufacturing and OEM and health sectors.
-Establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision-makers in various industries.
-Collaborate with National General Manager to develop sales strategies to improve Ontario market share in all product lines.

COMPENSATION:

Commensurate based on experience, bonus/commission structure and benefits.

EDUCATION:

University Degree or Certified Technical Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-5 years’ solid Business Development/Sales experience developing the Durham Region- East Ontario market.
-Outgoing/Hunter personality.
-Ambition to move to be a top sales person in their territory.
-Embraces Outside Sales and being on the 4 out of 5 days a week.
