Our client is a specialized and progressive company that offers technologically advanced solutions for military use.

THE OPPORTUNITY: 

They are now looking to complement their team with a resourceful and astute Product Development Manager to lead the product development team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will:

-Prepare market needs analysis, product development budget, plan and schedule.
-Oversee the detailed product specifications, detailed product design and qualification testing program for new products.
-Develop and help implement any technology capabilities that would be required to develop new products and/or develop supply chain sources to give the company the capability.
-Manage multiple product developments simultaneously.
-Provide leadership in developing objectives for future business development with the Board of Directors and staff, and carry out plans and policies as authorized.
-Ensure that products and tasks are compliant with all regulatory requirements and certifications that are required and applicable to the division.

EXPERIENCE:  In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

-At least 10 years’ experience in technical product development.
-At least 5 years’ experience in opto-mechanical product development.
-At least 3 years’ experience managing a small team of technical product developers.
-Experience developing products for military or government applications.

COMPENSATION: 

Salary $100,000 - $110,000

EDUCATION: 

Degree or Diploma in Engineering mandatory.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 

Permanent, Full-Time

Yes

Yes - up to 3.
