They continue to grow and develop and are, as such, seeking a Regional Property Manager to join their team in managing a large portfolio in Toronto.  Our client has a solid reputation for success and credibility. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dedicated, honest, fast paced, hard working individual with the proven ability to manage a team, with a customer service mindset and the ability to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of a large portfolio.  We need an approachable Regional Property Manager with a process improvement mindset and the ability to influence multiple personalities at various levels.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively manage a large portfolio of residential properties ensuring maximized revenues and reduced expenditures
  • Managing a team of portfolio staff ensuring customer service is at the forefront
  • Preparing financial reports for management
  • Preparing and adhering to annual operating and capital budgets
  • Collecting of rent, reducing vacancies, and managing lease negotiations
  • Completion of all building inspections and submitting findings.
  • Working with contractors and obtaining the necessary quotes to adhere to budgetary requirements.
  • Managing all capital projects by approving contractors, purchase orders and managing trades

EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior  Property Manager in the Residential Sector
  • Experience Managing a portfolio with over 1500 residential units a must
  • CPM designation a strong asset
  • A post secondary diploma within real estate or a related field a strong asset
  • Experience managing a large team of staff directly and indirectly; including Property Managers, Administrators, Resident Manager’s, maintenance staff, etc.
  • Strong computer skills; MS Office and Yardi a strong asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to think on your feet.
  • Post-secondary diploma a strong asset
  • CPM a strong asset

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

Full-Time Permanent

REQUIRED TRAVEL:

Yes – Throughout the GTA to visit locations within assigned portfolio
