EXPERIENCE:  In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

•  Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience within HVAC industry

•  Proven track record of success selling customized HVAC solutions to commercial, industrial and residential clients.

•  Knowledge of the HVAC sales marketplace, VRF and ERV products

•  Proven ability to develop and conduct specific product application training seminars to distributors, consulting engineers, architects, building developers and owners etc.

•  Ability to build and maintain customers relations, by providing excellent customer service and order process management

Our client is an award winning diversified technology distributor and a leader in the HVAC  sector.  The distributor provides quality products, and innovative services and solutions to optimize energy and operational efficiencies of buildings spanning commercial, institutional and industrial building sectors.  The company is uniquely placed to assist building/facility owners (with multiple building assets) with the full range of building energy management solutions and employs some of the best technical experts in the sector. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong interest, enthusiasm and drive to succeed.
  • The position required the successful applicant to develop and conduct specific product application training seminars to distributors, consulting engineers, architects, building developers and owners etc. These seminars must highlight the benefits of VRF systems and compare the benefits of VRF systems to other available systems. The successful candidate will be able to convince the customer to use VRF products based on benefits such as but not limited to: ease of applications, operational comfort, first cost and payback, and environmental impact etc., compared to other available systems.
  • Knowledge to design, apply and provide local application specific solutions to secure and increase VRF and Energy Recovery product sales.
  • Be able to see potential for product application by making our VRF and ERV equipment to fit into specific applications, either as a standard product or by combining our product with other products, control systems, etc., and/or applying add on solutions to meet customer specific requirements without misapplying our product or apply it in ways that will cause damage to product, people or property.
  • The successful candidate will be required to research and select potential clients in each sales territory (such as consulting engineers, architects, building developers, building owners, etc.) that are not currently dealing with the distribution channel. The successful candidate will be responsible to set up appointments (VRF and ERV seminars, lunch and learns, etc.) with these potential customers and involve the local distributor in these meetings, by this increasing the distributor customer base and increasing sales potential.
  • The successful candidate will be required to be involved with associations such as ASHREA, HRAI and RSES and schedule continues application training seminars at different chapters to discuss VRF and ERV technology, with the focus on increases technology and product awareness in the industry.
  • The successful candidate will provide pre and post sales support to all customers. The successful candidate will work with advertising and marketing personnel to develop project specific product profiles that explain individual projects requirements and how VRF and ERV systems were used as a solution, while showing the benefits of these products.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor`s Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, is an asset

SALARY RANGE:

A very competitive compensation package, benefits package, and bonus.
