They are a widely successful company, with decades of experience as an industry leader in their field. Our client is looking to expand their footing within their Northeast territory and is looking for a driven and dedicated sales professional to take on the role of Territory Sales Specialist.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Territory Sales Specialist position is an outside sales role that achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products to new prospects. The motivated sales professional will be able to travel across their territory without restriction, in the vehicle they are provided by the company. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position personally contacts and secures new business sales within their territory.

EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • This is a pure “Hunter” role. You develop your leads, present the products through actual demonstration and close the deals.
  • 3-8 years of experience in sales position.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement business/market plans to penetrate market and achieve targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to identify, contact, follow up and close out sales leads in a timely manner.
  • Consistently achieves sales goals.
  • Analytical mindset, ability for raising and solving problems.
  • Works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
  • Is comfortable with working in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Utilizes tools like Salesforce to manage business opportunities and growth.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations, etc.)

EDUCATION:

Bachelor Degree in Business, Degree in Sales or Marketing, or an Engineering Degree preferred.
