EXPERIENCE:   In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • 1-2 yrs of domestic & off-shore purchasing an asset
  • Strong customer service and relationship skills

THE COMPANY:

Our client is an industry leader within the door activation and locking products space.   They manufacture on site and have experienced strong growth in their area of expertise. This role will create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is delivered on time.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

You will bring your skills within the area of Purchasing and problem solving to this unique organization.  This role will negotiate contract terms and pricing, evaluate offers from suppliers and have strong researching skills for potential vendors. You will purchase items by forwarding order to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
