POSITION TITLE:

EXPERIENCE:  In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have: 

  • Diploma or Certificate in accounting or related field
  • 5 year experience within accounting roles
  • Ability to multitask and manage long term and complex objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and strong aptitude for working in a deadline environment
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Excellent command of MS Office – Advanced Excel user 

THE COMPANY:

 Our client is a premier distributor offering a vast selection of quality brands within the security products area.  Being in the GTA for 35years their success has been achieved by assisting their customer’s growth.  

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their accounting team. This accounting individual will process the complete cycle of accounts payable.  You will match, code and process all approved invoices. You will prepare supplier payments according to our client’s terms and policies.  Correspondence with vendors as needed, to resolve any payment discrepancies.  Strong service attitude for all suppliers and all levels of the organization is an essential piece of this role.  Processing vendor payment through cheques, wires and EFT.  This position will reconcile all accounts with our vendors. The ability to perform your work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently will also be necessary.

Post-Secondary Education / Certificate in Accounting
