Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of coding, marking and digital printing solutions, offering some of the newest technology in the market. They are a widely successful company, with decades of experience as an industry leader in their field. Is looking to strengthen their consumables brand and is looking for driven and dedicated sales professional to take on the role of Business Development Manager.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Business Development Manager will oversee the consumables for a wide array of print functions from the company’s secondary product portfolio. It is an opportunity to drive product strategies and plans and ensure product alignment across all departments. This position is for a dedicated and driven professional who thrives in a cross-functional business role, which also encompasses market and technical management at the product line level.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Business Development Manager provides support in the development of a strategic plan to grow the company’s aftermarket sales for their secondary products. The role will work to develop supplier partners, create plans to go-to-market, which include new supply agreements, and drive sales. As a key developer, the Business Development Manager will need to have strong communication skills and the ability to train others in order to maximize success and profitability. 

EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • Prior sales experience growing current client accounts.
  • 5+ years’ of product marketing experience with at least 2 years’ experience in a field-facing role.
  • Very strong written communication skills.
  • Willing to travel 33% of the time, as needed.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Training Instruction experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor Level degree in Business, Business Administration, or Marketing.

COMPENSATION:

$75,000 plus a competitive commission plan and benefits.

Bachelor Degree in Business, Business Administration, or Marketing.
