Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of coding, marking and digital printing solutions, offering some of the newest technology in the market. They are a widely successful company, with decades of experience as an industry leader in their field. They are looking to add an Installation Engineer, to further their commitment to growth and high quality service provided to their customers.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As the Installation Engineer, you will have to be a person who lives for being on the road. Travel is a mandatory requirement of the job and all expenses are paid. Overtime can be easy to come by in this role and is always well compensated.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Installation Engineer is a vital member of the project management and engineering team. Engineers undertake on-site and remote faultfinding and repair of company-supplied equipment. Provide technical telephone support, which includes rotational after-hours, weekends and holidays on call. Service Electrical, mechanical and software based production equipment.The Installation Engineer also acts as the onsite technical trainer for customers who are new to the product. Engineers provide technical (product) and Health & Safety training to customers on company-supplied products. Engineers provide daily installation updates to installation and or project management. 

EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • A strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Experience in finding solutions to complex problems when dealing with mechanical issues in capital manufacturing equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proven track-record servicing or maintaining manufacturing or similar electro-mechanical equipment
  • A willingness to train others.
  • Ability to travel extensively and be available on nights, weekends and holidays.
  • 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school.

COMPENSATION:

$72,000 - $77,000 plus overtime compensation and benefits.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

Permanent, full-time
