POSITION TITLE:

SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER - EAST 

COMPENSATION:

$60-65,000 plus a generous and uncapped commission plan, benefits, company car and gas card 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Account Manager is a position that achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the assigned territory by comprehensively managing existing accounts and selling the company’s products to new prospects. The motivated sales professional will be able to travel across their territory without restriction, in the vehicle they are provided by the company. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this position personally contacts and secures new business sales within their territory, while providing a high caliber of customer service to existing accounts.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of coding, marking and digital printing solutions, offering some of the newest technology in the market. They are a widely successful company, with decades of experience as an industry leader in their field. Our client is looking for a driven and dedicated sale professional to take on the role of Sales Account Manager across their Maryland and Virginia territory. 

EXPERIENCE:

  • This is a “hunting/farming” role. You “hunt” through developing your leads, presenting the products through actual demonstration and closing the deals. All the while “farming” the existing accounts that are attuned to a high caliber of customer service.
  • 3-8 years of experience in sales position.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement business/market plans to penetrate market and achieve targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to identify, contact, follow up and close out sales leads in a timely manner.
  • Consistently achieves sales goals.
  • Analytical mindset, ability for raising and solving problems.
  • Works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
  • Is comfortable with working in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Utilizes tools like Salesforce to manage business opportunities and growth.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations, etc.)
