THE OPPORTUNITY: 

Confident in their industry expertise, our client has built an industry leading team of supply chain Consultants who are rapidly transforming the International Freight Forwarding marketplace with their avant-garde approach and nouveau solutions. Overwhelmed by success and massive client interest they have now set their sights on a similarly bright, unique, curious and creative individual to breathe life into their ingenious creations, otherwise known as implementation! 

You will put high-level strategy into action and will also be involved in devising the ideal customer approach. You will work closely with our client’s most important customers on a deep dive and analysis of their logistics needs and the subsequent development and implementation of measures to ensure optimum efficiency, performance and client satisfaction. 

Possessing strong operational acumen, excellent client management skills and a penchant for bring order to chaos, the implementation role is one where you can exercise all these many glowing traits. 

As the business development team closes in on an attractive target, you will be brought in during the late stages of inking the deal and the beginning stages of bringing the new relationship to life. You will take over the relationship as the integration proceeds and the sales person rides off into the sunset. Correspondingly, after a few quarters of impeccable service without issue, you will hand the relationship off to the customer service, operations and/or key account management team. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Since the primary function of this role could be defined as a “making things happen” we are looking for someone who has “been there, done that” in the world of international freight forwarding. This would include mastery of, at minimum, International Air and Ocean and ideally, the additional logistic services of road, rail, customs and warehousing. 

EDUCATION:

University or College Degree – Business related focus, MBA an asset
