POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a large international freight forwarder with many offices situated throughout the world. They offer a full range of services to their clients: air, ocean, warehousing & Distribution, transborder, customs, special projects. A major player in both the global market and the Canadian market, this is a great opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic and successful team. If you are interested in joining an organization traditionally looked upon as one of the TOP FIVE in the industry, please read on. The tremendous resources that they command worldwide have allowed them to secure a number of very large substantial clients to whom they provide a complete and total logistical solution. Our client has a long history of success providing Warehousing & Distribution Solutions to an impressive array of Fortune 500 organizations. This position is a Senior level role with complete responsibility for a number of substantial Warehousing sites. These sites comprise in excess of 2 Million sqft of warehousing space and represent many millions of dollars in revenue. The Warehouse Manager for each site will report directly to this position. Through these limited direct reports you will lead a workforce consisting of hundreds of employees.  

The perfect candidate will be both an operational expert and an inspirational leader. They will have elevated their influence to senior levels of management by proving that they are brilliant strategists with a flair for creative solutions and a knack for building strong teams. The candidate will have had experience with both dedicated warehousing situations and multi-vendor site scenarios.

COMPENSATION:

Extremely lucrative and comprehensive compensation package

EXPERIENCE:   In order to be competitive for this position, you will have:

  • 10+ years of Warehousing & Distribution experience
  • 3+ years in a Management / Executive capacity
  • Managed multiple sites with significant square footage

QUALIFICATIONS:

CIFFA, CITT, P. Log or other logistics related designation is an asset
