GEOSTRUCTURAL ENGINEERING MANAGER

THE COMPANY:

A well-established Geotechnical and Geostructural Consulting firm is looking for a Senior Geostructural Engineering Manager to oversee a large team of dynamic professionals that include Engineers, drafter and field staff.  They are looking for a Professional Engineer that is a strategic leader with strong leadership capabilities to oversee a large team of professionals.   They are an organization whose 40 years of success and growth was established as a result of the talent they hire and the cohesive team they have built over the years.  To keep the momentum going they are looking for an individual that can support the demand and continue to build on their positive image in the market.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As the Geo-Structural Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all stages of a project from conception and proposal stages through to delivery.
  • Managing a team of Engineers, Drafters and Field staff.
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and within allocated budgets, and resources.
  • Managing relationships with all clients throughout all stages of the project to ensure the team is meeting deliverables as per contractual obligations.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to all team members.
  • Ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to at all times by all employees.
  • Continual business development and account management for new and existing clients.
  • 7+ years’ experience in geo-structural engineering design and implementation.
  • 3 + years’ experience in a leadership role; Manager, Team Lead, Supervisor, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng through PEO).

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years’ experience in geo-structural engineering design and implementation.
  • 3 + years’ experience in a leadership role; Manager, Team Lead, Supervisor, etc.
