POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a member of this team you will:
  • Track and trace inbound ocean containers via terminal and container yard systems
  • Secure pick-up reservations at CN/CP rail in line with dispatchers' and customers' desires
  • Schedule import deliveries with customers over the phone and via email
  • Create customer orders and populate unloading dates/times
  • Respond to customers inquiries and facilitate the resolution of issues and concerns
  • Work closely with colleagues and drivers
  • Perform other duties as required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years' Customer Service experience in Intermodal (Trucking or Logistics)
  • CN Reservation Experience is a MUST have

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a high-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent proficiency with computers and programs such as MS Office, Excel and Outlook
  • Data input accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities
  • Exemplify patience and professionalism
  • Willing to learn and work with a team
