THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client has a very exciting and lucrative opportunity for precisely the right Sales Manager for their luxury dealership in Vancouver, BC. Their sales team is always growing, as demand for their premier automobiles and motorcycles hasn't waned in spite of the pandemic. Vehicle sales of this nature and quality are essentially recession-proof, pandemic-proof, external-influence proof.given their affluent client base and the inherent exclusivity and scarcity of these machines.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As the Sales Manager you will be relied upon for your expertise and experience in analyzing dealership sales figures and consistent in your creative pursuit to identify and develop quality sales techniques to grow key figures.


Your sales team will be a talented one, consisting of professionals uniquely gifted in selling premier vehicles, to a passionate and demanding client base with discriminating tastes. But with there always being something new under the sun, you will be entrusted to coach and motivate your sales team towards their monthly targets, budgets, and the organization's common goals.


The keenest of Sales Managers recognizes that they're always "in sales". To this effect, your duties will also include soliciting, developing and booking new business through proven sales techniques and by developing quality, lasting relationships with prospective clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and oversee a team of salespeople
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed those quotas
  • Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance
  • Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters
  • Step in to answer customer questions and issues when required
  • Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff
  • Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers
  • Compile regular reports for dealership management to review
  • Develops programs in collaboration with the sales team that will increase the gross profit and F&I penetration
  • Develops and directs advertising initiatives and other promotions in collaboration with the salespersons and maintains website

EXPERIENCE:

  • Progressive experience in a sales role in vehicle retail sales, with an impressive track record of closing deals and retaining customers
  • Previous high performance, luxury market experience is an asset
  • Previous management/leadership experience is preferred
  • Valid BC Driver's License, a clean driver's abstract & MVSA license
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to build long-lasting and trusting customer relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in order to resolve customer issues
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
