COMPENSATION:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be involved in:

  • Delivering on required Key Performance Indicators and preparing daily, weekly, monthly reports to summarize production activity.
  • Ensuring all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules
  • Controlling inventory levels by conducting cycle counts. Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity
  • Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
  • Providing coaching, supervision, and performance monitoring to warehouse team members. Facilitating employee training and employee communications meetings on a regular basis.
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds; issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement.
  • Safety is top priority! You will provide leadership in the area of health and safety, ensure a clean and safe work environment and mandate compliance of the ESA and OHSA.

You have a strong sense of urgency, are self-motivated and work effectively under pressure. You can prioritize team efforts and meet tight deadlines. You are a versatile thinker, applying common sense and objectivity to evaluate and determine a solution. You balance an analytical approach with a people-centric perspective when problem solving.

You will also have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, consumer care products, or batch processing industry.
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or related field of study; or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is mandatory as well as a familiarity with on-line inventory management systems.
  • Health & Safety training and Standard First Aid & CPR Trained are an asset.
  • Must have Forklift Certification from a recognized training provider
