The new Director of Talent Acquisition will have complete autonomy and full executive support to implement and execute a world-class, full-cycle, recruitment strategy!

Reporting to the CFO you will have ultimate authority and responsibility for all things Talent related company wide. With complete Executive level support, you will be called upon to build a "best-in-class" talent acquisition program, essentially from the ground up. This will include everything from the Employee Value Proposition, through ATS optimization to employee onboarding! 


In addition to being a talented strategist and an empowering leader, you will also be an accomplished recruiter who continues to have a passion for full-cycle recruiting and feels the deeply-rooted desire to remain involved personally.


At the onset, your team will consist of yourself and one senior recruiter. Given the size of the Talent Acquisition Team you will need to be both able and inclined to handle a portion of the req load personally. This can best be described as a player/coach role where you will be both strategist/leader and recruiter. Hence, this is not the ideal role for someone who prefers to manage a team, work exclusively at the strategic level and no longer recruit personally. On the other hand, this is the perfect role for someone who yearns to make a difference by owning the Talent function inclusive of developing strategy, providing leadership AND actively recruiting.

Wholly responsible for talent acquisition throughout the organization you will be called upon to recruit for roles ranging from Admin through to C-Suite and everything in between. That being said, the lion's share of the recruiting would fall into the realm of IT / DevOps. Therefore an interest in this type of recruiting is an absolute must and a past history of success in this field will be highly valued.


Given the need to bring on talent both here and in the USA, prior experience recruiting south of the border would be an asset.
